About the League

The Green Hill Manor Adult Volleyball League includes teams from all acrosss Adamstown, MD. It was started by Mindy Bankey in 2004 as a way to connect with new people, have fun, and get some exercise. We started in 2004 with 4 teams, added two more teams in 2005, then exploded to 14 teams in 2006, then 15 teams in 2007.

New for 2008 - Two Leagues

Because the league has grown so much over the years, it makes sense to have two different leagues to meet the needs and skill levels of all the players.

• Wednesday night -- this league will stay the same -- same level of competitiveness, standings, etc. Limited to 16 teams.
• Friday night -- this league will be "Totally Social". Teams will be matched up, but will play mix-it-up. No standings will be kept, no spiking allowed. Unlimited number of teams. After-games parties, slushy machines, bonfires and marshmallow roasting are encouraged.

Tournament

The tournament for both leagues will be Sunday, August 31. The top 8 teams from the Wednesday League will play. All other games will be mix-it-up. More info to come....
